What is Accountability?

If Responsibility is being held Accountable for one's actions, then what is Accountability?

Accountability is about building "Trust."

How does a person build Trust?

"By doing what they said they would do, when, where, and how."

Trust is about an agreement that you made, in which you said what you would do, as you said you would do it, and when you would do it.

Agreements. Our world is put and held together by verbal agreements. A verbal agreement is what we said to someone that we would do, when, where, what, how; and they accepted. The offer and acceptance is what is called an "Agreement." An agreement that is put in to writing is called a "Contract." There are many different types of Contracts: Promissory Notes, Purchase Contracts, Sales Contracts, Real Estate Contracts, Mortgages, Indentures, Expressed, Implied, etc.

If you performed this agreement as you said you would, how you said you would, and when you said; the result is that you build trust that is based on credibility.

Trust is based on the fulfillment of Agreements made.

"People may forget what you said, but people will always remember what you did."

Credibility is defined in many dictionaries as:

"the quality of being trusted and believed in."

Credibility is the action based fuel for Trust, and it is what makes us be "Believable" or causes us to "Believe" in someone based on their actions.

"Would you trust someone that you know has lied causing you and others harm?

Credibility in its simplest form, is about being known for doing what you said you would do, how and when.

If Accountability were a coin, and on one side of the coin you have Trust; What do you think the other side of the coin would be?

I believe that the other side of that coin is "Doubt."

Let us examine "Doubt."

"What usually happens when you don’t do, what you said you were going to do, when you said you would do it?"

People start to doubt!

I have said many times that:

"Doubt is the quickest way to destroy a relationship."

How is Doubt created?

Here are some of the things that create Doubt:

  • Not doing. Inaction or doing  the contrary of what you said you would do.
  • Lying. A single lie discovered is enough to create contagious doubt over every other truth expressed.
  • Cheating. Cheating is a choice not a mistake.
  • Stealing. Taking something that is not yours, when you think no one is looking.
  • Secrecy. Concealment creates projected weakness and insecurity.
  • Ignorance. The root of all evil, and the cause of all malice.
  • Fear. The only thing to fear, is the one causing the fear.
  • Anxiety. Thoughts and feelings that feed the "Monster of Fear."
  • Worry. The uncertainty of not knowing causes the anguish of "What if....?"
  • Unhappiness. Not feeling good about something.
  • Uncertainty. Simply not knowing anything about what you don't know.
  • Suspicion. Need to know more, because whatever you are thinking about, doesn't feel good.
  • Suspense. Not really knowing what is going to happen, causes you to feel bad.
  • Rejection. It hurts, and the pain causes people to awaken to the truth.

What if there is One simple way to Get Rid of All Doubt?

and Fortunately there is....

What is Transparency?

  • It is making one's actions visible to other naked eyes based on "what really is."
  • It is making verbal communication clear and easy to understand based on Truth.
  • It is allowing the Truth to exist in its most purest and immaculate state.

What are the Reason(s) that someone would be hiding and concealing their actions?

(Not being Transparent.)

  • Guilty of lying to protect themselves?
  • Guilty of lying to protect someone or others?
  • Guilty of lying to cover up bad choices?
  • Fear of Accountability?
  • Fear of the Consequences?
  • Fear of Shame and Embarrassment?
  • Fear of Rejection?
  • Fear of Disappointment?
  • Fear of Betrayal?
  • Fear of being discovered to have broken moral, ethical, religious and legal laws?
  • Not showing up in present life, as who they really are behind the scenes?
  • Continuing denial of who they really are?
  • Hidden Agenda that if known would not be approved?
  • Once initiated, the process cannot be undone? (No reset button as in video games.)

Because of Secrets: What kind of Secrets?

  • Infidelity.
  • Sexual Preferences.
  • Betrayal.
  • Murder.
  • Stealing.
  • Invasion.
  • Genocide.
  • Tyranny.
  • Despotism.
  • Wanton Destruction.
  • Greed.
  • Absence of Integrity.
  • Religious Sacrilege.
  • Spiritual Sacrilege, especially the hidden practice of Satanic rituals.

"All in the name of God?"

Who Benefits from these Secrets?

"Is Everything a Secret?"

"If the persons deliberate intentions are good and honorable, then "Why" aren't they being Transparent?

What are they afraid off?

What are they afraid off?

Are they afraid that they are knowingly doing something wrong, and you will find out?

Are they afraid of the Truth and the Consequences of the Truth?

Are they afraid that they are breaking moral, ethical and legal laws?

The Big Question:

"What has to happen to cause us to awaken to the Truth?"

The Answer is:

Pain is something we pretend that it happens to other people.

Until the day that it strikes us.
